21 Full Moons in France Collection

In February 2024 I was one of the artists in residence at a fairytale chateau in France. My primary focus was writing and illustrating my book, Spring Fairies.

Something happened on a magical full moon night when the bright light rose over the hills to the east where my studio window happened to overlook. Using my acrylic ink that my friend Pam had bought me in France, I started using the ink as outlines to capture this moment on 300 gram watercolor circles I had brought with me.

The circles were all stamped with the logo from the chateau, then painted with Van Gogh watercolors in Florida, then these well-traveled works of art were taken to our home, The1870Studio in Pennsylvania to be sealed with archival wax and polished to perfection.
Each of the 21 circles have a special story, is an original and priced at $187 including postage to USA addresses.
