Wise words, said by someone clever, when asked about what a person should write about. Sounds simple. We know it, we lived it, we write it. But as I sit here in Florida on my self-created writers retreat, I'm seeing the difference between writing fiction, descriptions, copy and things like this blog. Writing about what we know sounds simple, but since it's so personal to me, I really want to make sure that you get the experience and feels that I want to share with you when you read this book, How I Met My Morton.
This moment in my life was so monumental to me, words, any words, don't seem strong enough to share the world of feelings that flew with me as I traveled to Scotland to meet my Morton and the trip that was supposed to last six weeks turning into six years, that in retrospect felt like six weeks.
The next couple of days I'll be finishing the final chapter in the book that's titled, The Beginning. After that, I'll take it through the editing and tweaking process, then on to the self-publication process. The entire process is one I want to share with you on our social media and make sure you're subscribed to our YouTube so you won't miss it.
Since I've been spending six hours a day on my laptop since landing here in Florida, a trip that I'm on specifically to focus on my writing, I'm going to keep this short and get ready to take you on this special adventure with me.
Thanks so much for being here, sharing with me and cheering me on. You're greatly appreciated.
Hugs & happiness,
Priscilla
