Snowman Seeds

Happy December!

Here we sit just a week away from Christmas eve. Our dear old home in this dear old church isn't looking as festive as I'd like. There are boxes, dressers, containers of stained glass, tables stacked full of studio and organizers that are nowhere near being organized covering the main floor of our church house and studio in the mountains.

There is snow outside, chill in the air, several trees decorated, firewood being cut and excitement in the air, but it's all a bit chaotic. Wait, it's very chaotic! As the big studio moves from the ground floor to the main floor in the area, I like to call the Cemetery Studio, because it overlooks the cemetery, it's easy to feel overwhelmed.

Somewhere in the middle of this, I found a minute to share a story, based on real-life events, that happened back in 2009 with my grandson. I've shared it on social media and I'm working on putting it together in book form, illustrated by our granddaughter, but for right now, I felt like it was important to get it out to you.

The website that the magic is going to happen at is called Snowman Seeds and there's nothing to buy and it's pretty self-explanatory. It's all about adults sharing some wonderful snowy magic with the children in their lives, creating special memories and my hope is that it becomes a tradition for you and yours.

Even if you live in an area where it never snows, I'm sure you can get creative with growing a snowman or two from the seeds you plant!

As time goes on I want to have a place where you can share your pictures, stories, ideas and tips on Snowman Seeds, with never giving up too much of the secrets of making magic for a child. :)

In case life gets busy, as it always has a way of doing so, I want to take a moment to wish you a lovely Christmas, Winter Solstice, Happy Holidays and most of all, peace and happiness in your life. Time is so precious that I appreciate all of it you spend with us.

Hugs, love and joy to you from Morton and I and wishes for the most amazing year of your life coming up!
Priscilla
