Our two-week trip to Florida was fantastic. Better than fantastic. We made new friends, visited with old friends, spent pure quality time with family, celebrated our 20th anniversary, celebrated Morton's 56th birthday, got to visit a childhood dream of mine, Sunken Gardens and the weather was absolutely perfect. Goldilocks weather. Not too hot, not too cold, just right.

We've made the long drive home now, unpacked the car, slept in our own bed, had a refreshing shower (I did anyway, the rest of the church is still sleeping) and Morton got up this morning to make waffles before heading back to bed for a nap to counteract the long car ride coupled with the late night/early morning arrival.

I put our Magiscope that Dennis & Jennifer had given us in the Tiki Room, it feels right there, I brought my suitcase and tech case up to our bedroom, plugged in the things that needed to be including the cool camera stabilizer our daughter got us and started going through my emails. I didn't realize just how fast the two weeks went by. I've also just taken off the notice about being away for 2 weeks on our website and I'm soon going to head back into the shipping area of the studio to start printing labels for the website sales.

Sincere thanks and gratitude goes out to everyone who continues to support us by purchasing our arts and crafts. Thank you!

I've saved my big surprise to last. In Florida on Monday while Morton and I were packing up the car to leave on Tuesday, our 15-year-old grandson said he'd come home with us. I've only been bugging him to do this since he was 8 and they moved to Arizona. He has came to visit before, but never during school. He attends online classes so just a case of bringing his suitcase, laptop and his warmest clothes and all my dreams have come true.

There isn't enough time or words in this universe to tell you how much we love our Alexander. He said he wants to help with the projects we have going on here at the studio and this feels like everything I've ever wished for has come true. I've always known I was a lucky lady, but this really is next level.

Around 2 am today, I'm sitting on the day bed he is going to be calling home for as long as he wishes and Morton was in one of the library chairs and our son Jimmy was in the other. I had brought my coziest, warmest and softest blankets for Alexander. My smile was so big it made my cheeks sore. I can even feel it now as I'm typing this, pure bliss.

To complete the picture of perfection, our grand dog BonBon hopped up on Alexander's bed. The next few days, weeks and events we have coming up are going to be busy, hectic and I know, as wonderful as possible with these three wonderful men here. My luck never ceases to amaze me and I wonder just what I did to deserve this beautiful life.

Watercolor Wednesday will happen tonight in the library, hopefully with a bit more tidy space for me to paint on and I'm so excited to be sharing this time with you.
The best is yet to come.
Hugs and happiness,
Priscilla
