August 2025

Hello from our happy place.

What a year of travel it has been. I think in 2026 I just want to stay home and soak in all the beauty of this place.

Travelng is fun and so good for you, but it’s also so much work and this old church is really my sanctuary. Can you relate? Do you love to go somewhere but then are so glad to get home?

The list has been long. Morton and I did the Pacific Northwest in the spring the see Washington, Vancouver and Alaska. The trip will always be in our hearts. After being gone for almost two months we came home for a week, then headed to Whitney, Ontario to enjoy time together. Morton wasn’t feeling great and stayed home, I ended up in the ER on the 4th of July and have to say, Canadian hospitals are incredibly affordable. I got and paid my bill as I was leaving.

Next adventure had us going to Florida for a few weeks before I flew to Athens with my daughter, granddaughter and sister for a three week trip to seven countries.  I also had my second cruise experience this year and I’m not a fan.  I prefer to explore in my own time on adventures that include being on land.

Greece, then Montenegro, then Croatia, then Slovenian, then getting off the ship early to drive 14 miles to Italy, then to Switzerland, a drive in Germany and ending the trip in Switzerland which was hands down, my favorite part of the trip. We got to visit the little village that my father had came from and seeing the family name there was pretty surreal.

There have been big changes happening here. Our grandson and his girlfriend have moved in so we now have three generations living in our church home and studio. Being surrounded by love is the best feeling that I hope you can relate to.

As I write this I’m thinking about what all is going to happen today in the studio. I invite you to check out the shop and let me know what you think! It’s open again.

Let’s get creative and have fun,
Priscilla
